A tea lover's dream!
This tea is refined and elegant, brimming with flavours of butter, nuts, flowers, and fruits.
Our Darjeeling Second Flush is a well-balanced, flavourful black tea that can be enjoyed at anytime of the year and is made from tea harvested during the spring rains. A distinct and rich tea brags of a gorgeous, long-lasting flavour.
The second flush of Darjeeling tea begins in late May and lasts about 45 days. Teas produced during this period have a fuller flavour than the first flush.
This tea has a distinguishing flavour that lingers sweetly on the palate with the flowery aroma of the fine, crisp leaves melding with sweetness and smoothness to create an aromatic brew that is light reddish amber with a toasty and malty character and complex flavour profile of biscuit, dried fruit, and nut.
Second-flush Darjeeling Tea tends to produce lighter and brighter flavoured teas than the first flush and is characterized by a softer and juicier taste, free of bitterness, and a robust floral aftertaste.
It is a full-bodied tea with a flavour that falls somewhere between green tea and black tea. Its strong flavour satisfies any tea drinker's need for something stronger than a cup of coffee.
